I don't think it's quite as simple as the paint analogy here. Film might be a little more appropriate.

FB and others provided the actors, lighting, set, and directing, while MBJ provided the writing and editing. Not completely without merit but definitely not as admirable, especially when you consider that she's charging people to see stuff that is largely other peoples' work while the people she's making money off of continue to provide their resources for free to the community.
