How about instead of magic, lets use a scifi setting.

A group of boys and girls have some fun in a full immersion virtual world - probably using some kind of Matrix-style brain interface. Doesn't really matter.

The purpose of the simulation could be a number of things. Maybe its a sex game, more likely its meant for educational reasons (for example they could be in some sort of virtual museum with old 18th century tech, dinosaurs, all kinda stuff that - since its virtual - you can play and interact with) Or its educational but includes sex ed, so there's also sex toys from different ages/epochs you can try out.
(Possibly the sex-enabled features or parts of the sim are meant for adults and only become available after some hacking)

What does matter is, they somehow find out that the physics engine has certain limitations when it comes to physical damage to player characters. Likely they had to "hack" the engine to make physical damage possible in the first place, but - while they still don't bleed (blood might or might not be simulated - or just deliberately be turned off to make it kinkier) you just kinda see the internal organs/muscles with a clean cut, while all separated parts remain functional (although physically separated)

so someone could run around with a detached head. or be sliced through the waist, play with their own bottom half and actually feel it.

I think the fact that you 3d cgi it would even add to the "realism" of that scenario, since after all it is a virtual world that is allowed to look a bit artificial in places - while the players are still real.

would be fun if only one of them is the "hacker" and has the ability to mess with the engine or "reset/respawn" characters ;)

So back to the start, you have that group of boys and girls, initially clothed, walking through that virtual museum and getting bored. Maybe the entire thing is homework, One of them is a hacker and decides. "Hey, watch this, this sim has a hidden adult setting. And there's another map we can load, too." (the one with the sex toys)

and it kinda gets kinkier and kinkier from there as they experiment ;)
