Yes, the story is like Trine & Christine but not quite. It is more like "Higurashi When They Cry" because regardless of do-overs some character development should happen. It would be a waste to make many stories without some global plot, but I am not completely sure about that plot myself ;)

The devil girl is actually explaining it to the readers who still don't get what it is all about ;)
her speech should be vague enough to raise suspicion but not enough to explain everything ;)
