Tried getting the .duf DAZ project into Blender but kept getting errors using the plugin I mentioned in
>>35295
. Too bad, maybe the problem was that I had both an environment and a character at the same time? The error message was very cryptic.
So I tried exporting to collada (.dae) in DAZ and importing it in Blender. It worked but the pose information was gone, she was just standing there in default A-pose. Also her eyes were white and eyelashes were solid black. Was the same problem before when I tried with the MakeHuman program. Supposedly it is fixable by manually changing materials to glass and/or include transparency or something but that's above my low level right now so I just changed her pupils to pink.
Then I made some awkward pose, which felt tedious and I'm not sure an arm should be able to bend that way at the elbow. Getting a different facial expression was a pain in the ass, there's a million bones around the lips, so I just raised an eyebrown. Not even that was simple.
Camera or light info was apparently not saved in the collada so I had to set that up. Here's a render using the lower-quality Eevee engine (took 3 seconds).
