I think it's fitting how Mia's complete story was always going the straight forward expected way, since the villains also told her what would happen - maybe not every little detail, but having her laying there with her hands already nailed to the cross just begs for her to get fucked!

And about the technicalities of crucifying: It's probably better to nail her through the wrists instead of the hands. But if I didn't know that and you didn't know that, why should the kidnappers know that?
