While he had more money, influence and power than he could expend over the course of several life times, Jack wanted something more. He wanted true superpowers. Luckily he had located some on a primitive world called Earth. The portal to earth from Pandora was only a short distance from Handsome Jack's fortress, even closer was his goal. The source of the ice magic turned out to be nothing more than a small woman who was singing to the winds on a mountain. Chuckling, he covered the short distance between them, taking her down and ripping her dress to shreds so he could indulge in a bit of old-fashioned humiliation. When her impressive bust was covered with all manner of demeaning words, Jack bound her legs and wrists before raising his pistol and nonchalantly putting a lone round through her head. Carrying her corpse back to his own world, he only had to figure out to extract her strange abilities and then infuse himself with them.
