The reasons to argue for lolicit have been the same every time it happened. The first time some people argued for lolicit was when the old gurochan went down. I wasn't even a member then and not part of that effort, but it got me to check it out myself. The last time I argued for lolicit just in case, because a few developments on gurochan were worrying (the CP-spammer, the Tor ban, the flood protection, a few short downtimes, no communication from the staff about any of this). This time, we got what I was worried about for a while - I was more worried about the site going down again, but this ban is probably even worse for us.
Arguing that lolicit is the best alternative is just logical for anybody who is already there, because as Drabok can see now: Once you're in, it's a great site. And getting in is not as hard as it seems.

We will see what's going to happen here. There are probably two main reasons why nothing has been deleted yet: 1. They want to give all of us time, to save the content and to figure out what to do. That's what we have been doing here. 2. I'm sure the staff is trying to figure out a way around this. They should be aware that deleting all of this content might kill this site for good. But unfortunately I have my doubts they really have many options. If the server host wants this content gone, it's between deleting all of it or taking the whole site down until another server host is found, and that might take a while.
