“This is for all the times you pulled pranks on us in the academy”
Naruto stood still as a statue for another moment, then Ino’s words registered in his brain. Before he could ask about her meaning, the hand holding his shoved it back into his chest. His awkward stance from staring failed him and he stumbled back onto his rear in the mud.
He sat there shocked for a moment, trying to grasp the situation, until he heard them. Both girls were laughing at him.
“What….what’s happening?,” he managed to stutter out.
Sakura spoke up, “You pranked us all the time, so we decided to prank you.”
“It’s not my thing, but I can admit this was fun,” Ino replied.
“But, what about you..us…not wearing clothes…,” Naruto continues to sputter.
“Sorry Naruto, you’re just not our type,” Ino replied condescendingly.
Naruto couldn’t take what was happening, his mind fell into a rage. Before he knew it, he had a kunai in his hand and lunged.
Both girls had their eyes closed in their heavy laughter. Sakura didn’t even see it coming until she felt cold steel pierce her throat. Her eyes snapped open as she tried to yell in alarm but could only manage a choked gurgle as blood filled her throat. She tried to move to defend herself, but her body wouldn’t respond to her commands. She tumbled back over the fallen tree; Naruto’s kunai still lodged in her throat. She gasped for breath, her body twitching as she began to bleed over the tree she had fallen over.
“Sakura!” Ino screamed. She palmed her own kunai and lunged at Naruto. She had to stop him if she was going to save her friend.
Naruto was too fast for her; he caught her wrist as they began to struggle over the deadly blade. Their fighting caused them to move too close to the tree that Sakura lay over, Ino’s feet tripping over it and sending them both over the other side.
