i don't know, i think most guro i see makes things look like they're not that big a deal when in reality you'd probably pass out from the pain… best example is when someone gets cooked alive, often they're all casual and fine with it like "oh, just another tuesday", but if you put your finger on the hot stove for a split second you're already in for a world of hurt, so scale that up to your entire body and you'd probably loose your mind… maybe you've got more pain tolerance than me, since you go stepping on nails and stuff like it's nothing, but i'd imagine especially the younger characters are probably less hardened towards pain than you :P
