how is being burnt alive more scary than the stuff that's already happened? in the first chapter alone the sister was brutally dismembered with an axe and then sawn into pieces with a chainsaw, i think the scariness maxed out somewhere before that :P

i'm not sure how much burning someone alive you can do that doesn't at least require some burnt skin textures XD

although going by your hint you may need to render the charred remains of the brother anyways, depending on how bad they really are at cooking
