Yep, Lardo is more or less (more "more" than "less") pur fat. But I think it deserves some additional “useless information”. ;)
Lardo (Italian for “bacon”) is a specially treated, fatty bacon. It is made of the firm back fat of country pigs. Only the upper part from directly under the rind is used. Although production is basically the same, it varies slightly from region to region. "Lardo di Colonnata" is a protected geographical indication. A traditional specialty of Eastern European cuisine similar to Lardo is Salo.

>[…] the entire cannibalism "scene" is mostly about the sexual aspect and not so much about realism […]

IMO you can divide the "cannibals" into the "real ones" and those with erotic fantasies. The former have their own forums and don't visit guro chan. Probably they try to live it their fetish. The latter are here and enjoy the images and stories, although or especially because the tales are so exaggerated.

>[…] maintain the logistics of a global cannibalism system…

This is what makes me smiling most of the time. It may be possible to raise a hairless goat or even a long pig for years to use it on just one feast. But it is very questionable to raise whole human lifestocks to feed the world. The economics contradict this scenario. The same applies to lotteries. Their only reason can be to reduce the number of living people drastically.
