Professor: Looks like Amelia is about done, just a few bunny hops and that should just about finish her.
Melody: Um, not that it makes much difference, since the knowledge wont do me much good, but why does her bunny hop mean shes almost done.
Professor: That's actually a fair question Melody, and if you know about it, and can force your self to avoid them for as long as possible, the knowledge could extend your dance. And the pleasure of the audience. Bunny hopping is an attempt to thrust the body upward in the hopes of getting enough slack in the noose to allow for a bit of air. While it might get you half a gasp of air, the drop tends to tighten the noose faster and prevent further access to air. Where a calm dancer in some control of their movement can give a beautiful dance, while prolonging the experience. Just like Jenny did.
