Schizo shit aside, Chalk was basically the successor to gurochanOP.

gcOP was a huge part of what made the 3dcg community what it was. When he left, there was a big gap in content creation. There have been other names over the years alongside gcOP, but none of them really filled the gap when he left.

Chalk was the next big name to come along. It would be a disservice to chalk to say he simply filled the gap. Chalk's works not only filled the hole left by gcOP, his unique takes on composition, camera work, and viscerality had its own unique flow that pushed 3dcg further in terms of content and quality.

Like gcOP, a few other names that came along with chalk made content as well, like gcOP's "peers", but they remain largely behind paywalls, don't produce enough to take his place, and do little in the way of "pushing" the 3dcg community forward.

I'm curious to see who will come along to further the legacy of the 3dcg community as a whole now that chalk is gone. The content creator ring has shrunk significantly over the years.
