Well i don't use sfm so i don't know i just use Gmod and take pic's
The vr stuff will be for google cardboardas that what i use BUT i will see what i can do.

Posing models in Gmod is sooooo much work. Those that dedicate time to it have my admiration. I tried to do the same but i grew bored fast, i found easier to use sfm or other 3d posers, sadly my pc can only run gmod properly.

here is just a little of some i have been doing.

Gmod does take alot of time and patience. Plus it has its limitations, though some addons can make it look better or speed up posing. It does pay to have a high end PC to push the graphic limits to max, but post editing with PS is always necessary to get it to look its best.

I tend to use it because it feels more like playing with dolls and set pieces, physically dragging the models, props, and lights around and positioning them. While in SFM, I am staring at a minimized window while dragging sliders around, checking lists of effects/models and hoping I don't fuck up because it all looks like a missile guidance control system to me.

I could not agree more. Gmod indeed has the advantage to make us fell like playing with the model. I use gmod instead of sfm but i rarely do posing because of its limitations, as you said.
