Very nice, tournament settings are always fun. And I voted for Charlie, myself. Nothing quite like the weight of some heavy, unwieldy metal so as to do some real damage. Hope you don’t mind, but I went and wrote up a little something as to how I imagine Mika’s loss might go.

“Well, I’ll be! Ya got some fancy moves, don’t ya sugar?”

Mika wasn’t in any fit state to reply to the boisterous cowgirl, quivering as she was across the ground, blood pouring freely from her mouth. Her jaw was… broken, probably, she managed to recognize through the pain, splinters of broken teeth jutting from her bleeding gums and their shattered remains strewn about the arena floor.

Maybe she’d underestimated the rancher, or maybe the damn hick was just that good. Either way, the blunt force of Charlie’s pickax slamming against the side of her face had left its mark. Between the agony of her shattered jaw, the constant, deafening ringing inside her skull and the useless, bloodied sphere that was now her right eye, Mika knew it was over. She’d lost.

And as Charlie, still full of easygoing swagger stood over her, the realization filled Mika with utter dread.

“W-wait…” She managed to croak, too weak to even raise an arm in her defense.

“Aw, shucks, don’t be like that, girlie” Charlie replied, hefting the weight of her pickax above her head, “Ain’t nothing personal.”

The air whined with the weight of metal swinging through it, a damp, resounding thud echoing out as the crude tip of the cowgirl’s weapon penetrated through the yielding tissue of Mika’s throat and into the hard floor below.

“Agh…! Schk…!”

Mika’s body writhed desperately with failing strength, legs scrabbling madly for purchase, like a dying fish impaled upon its hook. The agony was unreal.

“Aww, geez. What am I like? Don’t ya worry now, I’ll finish ya proper this time.”

With a thick squelch the smiling Charlie wrenched her weapon free of her adversary’s throat, M ika gurgling up a torrent of blood as she was suddenly released from its point.

“One and a… Two!”

With another, heavy swing the battle was decided. The glistening point of Charlie’s pick landing this time between Mika’s very eyes, collapsing her skull unto itself with a resounding thwack of bloody gore and sending streaks of red and pink arching across the walls.

And with remnants of the former fighter still splattered across her grinning face, the cowgirl squared a boot across the deceased Mika’s chest for purchase and pulled her bloody ax free of the girl’s still twitching corpse.

“Well, that’ll do it, I reckon,” she mused aloud, giving her pick a solitary, aimless swing so as to splatter the gore along it through the air, “Hmhm~ Wonder who’ll I’ll get in the next round~?”

Loved the idea and the brutal narration, I'll definitely go for a more "cinematic" style of execution so they can be more varied.
