If available they will find those presents in the box and do something with them. You can attach some message to your present too. They will read every message and respond but not necessarily obey everything.

Presents can be whatever you like including destructive things or sex toys weapons etc
they think it is a dream so they will not hesitate to do any crazy stuff which can be deadly or harmful (it is not like they hesitate to do that either way LOL) but they will not die until new year and not getting seriously injured in a way to prevent them to use other presents.

Unfortunately for them it's pretty cold and they have no way out besides very painfully freezing to death or dying other way. So they may try to look for some good way to die to escape this situation but not immediately.

Maybe make a fire to stay warm maybe the box could have lighter fluid and matches

Yes, there could be a fire show with two dancing live torches. Both action and effect.

The box could contain a can of some thick fuel along with instructions for use. First, they would burn the box with their clothes and shoes to keep warm. It wouldn't be enough for long, after which they would both be warmed by direct exposure to the flames. It might work because they know it's not fatal in this universe.

I think what Onix was trying to say in that line is not about the word Snegurochka, but that Russian word for snowman is "snow woman", by which he must have meant "снежная баба". Either way it's not really a correct statement, as the male word "снеговик" also exists, and in my experience is much more commonly used than "снежная баба", although I imagine which is more common might vary between regions (or between centuries of history). The bottom line is: Russian for "snowman" is "снеговик" and Russian for "snowwoman" is "снежная баба".

On a tangential note I just discovered Andersen's tale "The Snow Man", and a Russian translations exists that calls him Снегур (Snegur, apparently male form of Snegurochka). Another translation just calls him Снеговик though.
