Today's topic is burning

These daily threads were a PEACEFUL PROTEST against the shameless and brazen
clogging of /3dcg by "audreymadeit" and "gore1408"(less, but still) for no good reason
and the reluctance of the mods to do anything about it, after being asked nicely
and politely by several different board-users over the course of weeks, or take notice at all.

They were supposed to get the attention of the mods and be either deleted, or
if possible merged by force, just like the aggravating causes of it all. (as of now still 25 threads)

Yesterday, on day 6, one of the mods stuck his head in /3dcg,
making a very contradictory statement:

>Why are you putting all your images in separate threads?
>I feel a purge is imminent.

He spoke.
I'm guessing there is a reason to announce an impending purge. That reason might be a rule.
If there were such a rule, one asks oneself, why hadn't that been enforced with the 25 threads
in question, by "audreymadeit" and "gore1408"? Those stick very much out among all other threads on /3dcg.

Now, if a mod were to enforce such a rule, surely it would be necessary to purge all those threads falling
under said rule, don't you think?

The purging, or threat thereof seems somewhat random. Then again, nothing happened so far,
so maybe there is in fact no such rule.
One asks oneself, why a busy mod would take it upon himself, or herself, to announce such a thing,
without giving an explanation. Maybe it was just a feeling that needed an outlet. We may never know.

I had planned for both outcomes. The obliteration of all those threads, or ideally merging of all the
excessive ones into one single threat by force and the might of the mods.
Or the case, that nothing would happen at all.
At the moment it looks, as if it would turn out to be the latter.
In this case, all my threads are supposed to be collections of nice images, sticking to the mentioned topics above.
Please feel encouraged to fill them all with a little life, so we might enjoy nice pics together, instead of looking at
censored marketing during our valuable spare time in this home away from home, that we all love.

Personally, I'm good. I hate rules. So if everybody can do as they please, that is essentially a good thing.
Might become a problem, if more and more self-promoters would begin to to the same, here on gurochan.
But, in that case, a rule might still be created at that time. So, what the hey!
