For resolutions just as a rule of thumb you want be using multiples of 64. For SDXL, don't go below 512 for any one dimension. I had a look through the data set and anime style images seemed to be the most common. But it should work with any style, while I haven't tested it I've made Lora's with purely anime images and it worked with other styles just fine.
