>I actually have an artist background

Well in that case I take back that little caviot I added and rephrase: Seriously, you're among the top 3 or 4 greatest guro artists out there in my opinion!

>Don't try to invent the arm out of existence.

Yes I know. I should have made it more clear; the arm was already present by the initial gen with blood and the tattoo. The problem was just that it was a wee bit too smudgy and all I wanted the AI to do was to clear up the details a little (almost like an adetailer pass). At first I tried it with the whole arm and hand masked and "holding knife" in the prompt, but since it either didn't improve at very low denoise (0.25-0.35) or would start giving me unprompted trash and krakenfingers at from as low as 0.35-0.4 denoise. I tried it with just the arm masked but with the same either basicly no change results or the unprompted weirdness.

>If you can't paint at all what I'd suggest is you don't delete your garbage gens. Using parts of other gens by cropping and copypasting works even better than hand painting. So if you see a gen with a nice bit, keep it around for collaging...

Yes, that's basicly what I'm doing. (I wouldn't claim that I can paint, but I also heavily rely on collageing and manually painting in/correcting some details (allthough my manually painted stuff needs another inpaint pass in most cases, sometimes I manage to draw smaller details that I can then leave as they are). I really need to clean out my harddrives someday. I've got to have a at least a hundred thousand gens laying around by now that I can use for "spare parts". >.<

Maybe I'm just a bit spoiled by the older SD1.5 models I used until very recently. I'm getting the impression so far that while pony is better than the old models at complex concepts (not to speak of image quality and all the other superior aspects), the old SD1.5 models had a more basic "understanding" of more simple things closer to natural language in some cases. (Hope that makes sense.)

>Another good basic thing to do is to control the pixel quota by eyeballing the dimensions of your inpaint area. don't just always use 1024x1024, if it's a tall rectangle you may get better and sharper results with something like 768x1536.

Now this I'll have to ask you to elaborate on a little, please! Because I have no idea what any of this means. Pixel quota? Eyeballing the dimensions of the inpaint area?

>You can go ahead, I'm open to the challenge, although the last 2 requests kicked my ass. Too many characters

Well then I'm afraid the request I had in mind might be a bit much to ask >.< I was wondering if you could do your own version of my scenario on the 4th panel from >>1862 (the burning village with the pirates massacering the exotic island babes of varying young age) The whole scene is too much to ask for I know, but maybe you could pick a few aspects of it and combine them? Basicly I'd just love to see some well made anime versions of some dark skinned exotic ebony girls getting slaughtered. There are far too few of those around, imo. ^^
