I was wrong, it isn't a Ruger Mini-14, but instead a Ruger 10/22 Takedown - Rifle. Took a while for me to find the original artist on Pixiv again, could've sworn I had also seen fan art for the game on there too way back before the purges, where she always had that specific rifle, so I always thought that it was her signature-thing.

Also the shooter-chan name; always thought everybody called her that. Even in the comments under the original art on Pixiv I've seen her referred to as "shooter chan", but maybe I just stumbled upon your comments there...? :D

Anyways, while working on the following pic I couldn't help it, but my mind came up with some sort of headcannon/story for how this situation could have come about; When Mori chan first saw you - "viewer sensei" - she fell in love with you on the spot, which is why she couldn't help herself but stroke with her fingers through her greassy, sweat- and blood- soaked hair in an attempt to make herself look a bit more purrdy for you... as if she needed to do that... xD
