Tearing them apart? xD Yeah that was my intention anyways. Sorry, should have mentioned that pic with them together was just an eye catcher again. This one here ain't just that, but more of a spoiler for what I have planned for these two. ;)

That's really hard to say in general. When I did the older set with Sonata I just crudely drew her expanding belly by hand and photoshopped her tilting head and so on and then used inpaint over that. I vaguely remember keeping the background consistent (even though it was just that empty color gradient) was kind of the hardest part. So when I had the basic idea for the Adagio -set I tried something different - basicly I "cheated"; #10 in that set was the basis for the whole set but especially the belly expansion sequence up until and including the explosion. I used a sfw version of #10 (just slapped a bikini on her) and fed that into grok imagine. I made a few dozend clips until I had enough material to work with. Sadly none of the video clips by itself were really presentable imho, otherwise I might've tried to animate the whole thing. Instead I took screenshots from the best sequence and a few other scenes and used them as raw gens for multi diffusion and inpainting and all that jazz. I remember going back and forth with the inpaintings/photoshopping small details to make the scene more coherent than it would've been had I just left it as the multi-diffusion runs left me with. But now that I've looked through it again I am embarrassed to see how many errors I left unfixed while tunnel visioning on others. :/

Anyway, at some point I'll likely have to go over some of these pics again, since I have sort of a grand finale planned for the whole series and I want to stitch it all together in the end... (for example I'll most definitely redo the Applejack beheading aftermath pic for that finale/unified series thing)

Now Sunset Shimmer and Sour Sweet I'll likely do in "ye old fashioned way" again, most likely without any video frame extraction shennanigans.

I'll try to make one of the two a bit sooner, but still, it will be a while. The thing is that I ideally need something like AT LEAST 5-6 days uninterrupted by any rl-bs and whatnot, cause I just hate having to quit somewhere in the middle and then picking up work only days later. And such diversion -free stretches of time have been a bit rare as of late...

...Since I intend to include the applejack thing into that unified series thing I thing for balances sake 1 or 2 more non-exploding belly - deaths would be in order. Maybe you have an idea (that ideally can be done faster) for another girl we didn't have yet/isn't slotted yet that could get done in a more conservative fashion like Applejack was? ^^
