Grok surely is a pain in the ass to work with. Dealing with moderation and jank results is very tiring. My 3-day free SuperGrok trial has just finished, so I'm done with it for now. But yeah, it's so wildly inconsistent with its moderation. The "mode=spicy" does nothing too. I thought VPNs helped but just today, it kept getting moderated even with VPNs. The moderation doesn't make sense too. Like I could type in the most vile shit and it would generate, but a simple kiss or punch in the stomach causes moderation.

It's much more lenient when using the "extend video" function, though, and I've experienced that the 6 second clips are more accurate to the descriptions than the 10 second ones. But I don't know if that's coincidental or it's actually how it is.

And videos made from images generated by Grok directly seem to be more lenient as well.

Anyway, after hours of dealing with Grok, I've put together two videos that I edited using DaVinci Resolve because I personally need more context for my tastes, and Grok videos are too short. Also, I generally don't like the look of the images generated by Grok, so I used existing art from the internet, which is why the frame is in a portrait orientation like that. I edited the image a bit using Grok, but it wouldn't change it to landscape no matter what I typed in the prompts. Like I literally told it to generate an image in the 16:9 ratio and it stilled generated an image in portrait.
