I FULLY agree with CD that 480p processes MUCH faster, so you take up less of your rate limit with each video. I also agree that because it goes so much faster, you can sometimes squeeze by moderation a little easier.

Having said all that, the CLARITY that 720p provides is almost invaluable to the way I edit videos. I do a lot of zooming, and slow downs, and that sometimes stretches 480p past the point where it remains clear. 720p lets me do pretty much whatever I want.

What you should be able to do is create the video in 480p, and then once your happy with it, increase the resolution, but I haven't seen where that's an option. Once you choose the resolution at the beginning, you're pretty much locked in with it.
