That's difficult. Best advice I can give you is to include a header at the end of the main instructions with a reminder of the technology available at the time. Something like this:

2005 TECHNOLOGY
- The only cell phones people have access to are flip phones
- In order to access the Internet, people need to sit down at a proper computer
- etc

Generally it's better to phrase these instructions in terms of what the AI should do, not what it shouldn't do.
