I thought it was well organized. The biggest hurdle was downloading the MEGA Manager tool, because the full zipped file was to big for a direct download, but that took all of two minutes to install, so no big deal to me.

The biggest lesson I learned was the STAGGERING difference in quality between Grok and whatever WAN is, because, at least from what's in the files, the two aren't even close. Grok creates a cohesive moving image where everything blends well, and the action is for the most part smooth, and allows you to enjoy the fantasy, whereas WAN, even though on first appearance, looks to be less "cartoony", doesn't come across as natural in motion, and things like blood spatter, or guts, appear more like a layer being placed on top of the model, rather than just blending well with it.

At this point your the gold standard for creating AI images for me, and since your the one at the controls for both in this instance, that variable is accounted for, so my current conclusion is that, while both have areas that need improvement, Grok seems to be WELL ahead of the competition at this point.

Minimax H3 is a new model that just dropped recently, a few other people are posting their creations with it. Seems to work pretty well for a lot of this stuff just straight out of the box - haven't had to use any LoRAs yet. I'm using grok as a chat bot LLM to help generate prompts, i fed it the style guides for krea2 and minimaxh3 to help it format the prompts. I give a generic description of what i want and then tell it to fill in the details.

i feed that into the krea2 workflow i yoinked from the other thread on this board, adjusting LoRAs until the slop it churns out is close to what i want. if it doesn't get close i'll feed the output in as a new latent with different amounts of denoise to try and get it dialed in. once i get an image that's good i feed it into minimax h3.

for minimax h3 i'm using some workflow i found on civitai by DaSiWa. I feed in the image as either a first frame (I2VA) or last frame (L2VA). results are usually better with I2VA. if I was better at photo editing/generation I'd do First and Last frames (FL2VA). sometimes I'll also feed the image into grok to help refine the video prompt. Minimax's prompt coherence is actually pretty outstanding, i typically don't need LoRAs for much.

I tried it twice, the first one was even more chaotic slop. Prompt coherence seems to break down a bit with the length and complexity of the scene, at least I haven't been skilled enough to make anything good in one go like that. To fully realize that scene i'd have to daisy-chain shorter generations together, which is a project i'm going to put on the shelf for now.
