    The rest is photoshop inpainting (id, writing, tape)

    Anytest essentially extracts an image's composition while keeping the characters and details flexible to prompting.
    It's like controlnet for dummies, very simple to use. You can also think of it like i2i but without overwriting the source image, it analyzes the data in some mysterious way and only uses what's relevant to composition.

    Put it in models/controlnet/

    You load the image into controlnet, select anytest and it's ready to go (no preprocessor needed).
    Just make sure the image and gen size are the same.
    Weight 1 is fine for strong influence, around 0.5 is a good "weak" influence spot, lower starts deviating too much. A lot higher and you're asking it to trace it. I recommend 0.5 to 1.2

    Source image quality doesn't matter much either, you can process your own gens (from other models, useful sometimes), your rough sketches, quick photoshops, or bad art. it'll keep composition and change the style.

    Not sure how it would work on ComfyUI since I use automatic1111 but you want to use inpaint to clean it up. Inpaint with higher weights can be used to change up the image but with low weights and a similar prompt it can help clean up. Especially if you use "only masked". Not sure what that would be on ComfyUI but it basically means you are only considering the boxed area you have masked (That fits the resolution you picked). I find PonyXL to be more susceptible to change when inpainting/img2img so I typically use a weight of 0.2~0.4 when cleaning up. Then use an extension called "Ultimate SD Upsclae" to upscale the image. Basically what this does it runs the built-in upscaler using the user selected upscale method then splits the images into chunks (of size the user selected I like to use 1024x1024 chunks). then runs img2img on it. I like to use really low weights (0.1) when using this add-on. I'm sure there are other tools for doing upscaling but this is just the one I use. For cleaning up I recently picked up a-detailer since other anon's mentioned it and I find it really useful. It does what I mentioned above with inpainting but automatically generates the mask for you, for the specified region. Really useful for faces/hands.

    on comfui I have not found an easy way to inpaint with good degreees of control.

    I think I will have to go back to Auto1111 and see what I can do.

    BTW I discovered that low CFG (picrealted is CFG=3) gives better results and removes a lot of noise.

    PonyXL is not very good when combining characters.

    What about depicting a rather unconventional concept, with not much care for what characters get used?

    Basically take two rather different-looking characters (e.g. Rin Tohsaka and Luvia Edelfelt), have them decapitated and/or debreasted in some manner whether intentional or accidental, and then afterwards their parts are either put on display or in a casket or whatever, but the parts get mixed up for whatever reason and each girl's torso and/or breasts get mistakenly "allocated" as having originated from the the opposite girl.

    So using my example characters of Rin Tohsaka and Luvia Edelfelt, the idea is that the end result would be Rin's head ends up being paired with Luvia's torso and/or breasts, and Luvia's head paired with Rin's torso and/or breasts.
