I tried VERY hard to do something similar with Grok while I was fiddling with it, and it would just flat out reject any image I uploaded. It's so cool that MiniMax will let you do this!

I love this comic you're using so much, I actually created my own 1:22 minute music video from it. It's just creative pans and zooms set to music, but that's how big a fan I am.

As far as the length of the GIcer video, and what it covers, it starts at chapter 1, and goes all the way up to chapter 20, which is the end of that sort of trial with those two chicks.

I use the Fused Turbo LoRA the most. Does well with physics and often prefer the result over the full model. 5090 is better than what I have. Feel free to contribute :).

Just a humble suggestion, but have you considered giving talented hand drawn artwork a shot?

You may even be able to get away with more complex movements, due to the black and white composition, and less complex backgrounds. It might be interesting to see how MiniMax would handle straight up animation of that style.

Someone I'd suggest, because he's shared all his works publicly, is the Chinese artist: "Coccus" or "球菌" in Chinese.

His artwork is mesmerizing. He did this amazing story about a world with competing armies who's troops were mostly INSANELY hot nude anime women who RUTHLESSLY killed each other on the battle field, and the losers would end up being butchered and turned into food for the winning side.

2D is...a different beast altogether. Unlike 3D, there's not enough consistent features for the model to anchor onto. Even the best 2D artists aren't fully consistent.

The workflow is also completely different.

Instead of being able to use 3D comic panels as first frames and last frames, 2D comic panels are usually from completely different areas.

For something as rough as this guy's art I need an image generator to make it look polished, then a character guide for consistency.

Then a storyboard or animation for the missing parts so I can generate from video instead of from image.

Case example is this one from jjfrenchie.

It's already an animation so that part's taken care of. But it's also based on an old edit I did of his work that added 2x more hand drawn frames.

TL;DR. A lot more effort than 3D.

But I just started genning a few days ago and haven't fleshed out my workflow so who knows. There's a lot of stuff I want to render from artists like chifudoon/goose/beamgundam/chunlieater/angel corps.

I eagerly await the day you can feed a guro comic or story as input and get a full Marvel budget guro movie out of it, but today is not that day. Still, this stuff is already beyond my wildest dreams. What a time to be alive!

I also appreciate the consideration about the hand drawn stuff. Seeing as I've never worked with MiniMax, I don't know the full process of what the prompting process is.

I will say that I told a MINOR fib about my time with Grok though. I did manage to get one single upload to work, and it was from an EXTREAMELY talented hand draw artist that most of you would know, and is still very active. I'm not going to share either their ame or the resulting video, because I KNOW they've VERY particular about how their work is presented, and I also know they frequent this board.

Anyhow, long story short, Grok was able to take the drawing and make a pretty cool animation from it. Granted, because I knew I was on thin ice, because it was a miracle Grok even accepted the upload, I allowed it to just animate it on its own without prompting from me, and the result was pretty cool. I know I'm hyping it up here, but it wasn't even sexual, other than the character is fucking GORGEOUS.

I guess the point I'm so long windedly trying to get across, is Grok was able to take a hand drawn female, with literally no background at all, and convincingly animate her. I obviously don't know all the nooks and crannies of MiniMax, so I was curious if it could do the same.

Anyhow, kind of sounds like I'm complaining. I'm not, and appreciate your feedback about it, and OF COURSE, eagerly look forward to your results with all those other artists!

there's loads of butchering / cannibalism / mutilation / R-18G works on Pixiv. The website mostly just has a conniption fit if you don't censor genitalia or if the gore looks too realistic.

Guys, I don't know if you've thought about it,  how about using AI to optimize and enhance some 3D artists' works? A lot of 3D gore videos are just a few seconds of repeated actions looping over and over, without a beginning or an end. Wouldn't it be awesome to use AI to fill in the context and complete these videos?
