After watching it several more times, for as I ALWAYS say, um... Scientific purposes, I really do appreciate the MONUMENTAL effort that went into this, and it's also amazing how meticulously you document every step of your process and share your materials so freely. That's greatly appreciated!

Having had months of experience using Grok, I always thought some of the "A.I. Jenk" (For example, knives turned the wrong way, or parts not seeming to carve off correctly) was a result of the Mod Bot fighting against what you were asking it to do, and I still think that is a large part of it, but seeing as you're using MiniMax, which I don't believe has anywhere near that level of moderation, if any at all, it seems that some of that is just inherent with where A.I. currently is.

Bear in mind these aren't even CLOSE to complaints. I LOVE what you've done here. These are just observations.

I also love that you decided to lean into the awkwardness and make it feel like a trashy 80's or 90's B-Movie, that goes WAY further than any of them ever did. That was a good decision.

If you ever go down this "Long Form" video again, I'd be curious to see how far you could push it in a more serious direction, and pursue the more direct and brutal tone your stand alone images have.

I used "Moss Image" to generate all the character sheets. Krea 2 is also fantastic for this but I tend to default to Moss for everything since its less fiddly with gore and porn stuff.

weird! that zip file only contains a single mp4 file so don't know how that would flag anything. i know on my system, either firefox or my linux install constantly warns me that video files "are executable" (they aren't lol) and could be dangerous, maybe you're hitting something similar?

yeah, the current state of AI is quite impressive, but that just makes it even more disappointing when it fucks up some minor detail lol.

tbf, one of the benefits of local ai is since its free you can just keep tweaking prompts and regenerating to iron out errors, which is something i did a fair bit of in this project. some of the flaws probably could've been worked out after enough time, but at a certain point i just had to move on when a scene was "good enough" (didn't help that i had a self-imposed halloween deadline lol). something something, perfection is the enemy of good idk

and yeah, i'll definitely be doing some more grounded/serious works in the future!
