Naomi's little sister, Miola, was a minor character even in my mind until recently. During 2013's National Novel Writing Month, she turned into the protagonist of a story that previously belonged to Naomi. She has much in common with Inica--but I was also writing Queenslayer at the time, with no intention of ever letting the two stories cross over.
