Heh, sorry, BB, I'm >>13847 and>>13848 . I was half-awake when I made the post. But yeah, some retro styles I like (DB/DBZ, Sailor Moon, Fist of the North Star, Tenchi Muyo), and some modern/contemporary (Pokémon [except Xross Wars/Fusion], Digimon, Outlaw Star, Samurai Shamploo, Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt because they were going for a more Americanized style)... though, of course some of both ages have some... less-than charming styles (the OLDER version of Gegege No Kitaro... and I can't think of any modern ones without resorting to "ugly, because 'too cute for its own good'" [like Lucky Star]).

... and then you have modern anime that INTENTIONALLY resort to retro styles (Super Milk-Chan, with its bubbly Fleischer-esque style).
