Have you ever thought about using animated PNG (aka APNG) for such animations?

I really like your art if you couldn't tell already, but GIF's 256-color limit isn't exactly ideal, so using animated PNG would be an easy way around that.


(so that I'm not vouching for something that I haven't even tested, I'm going to turn one of my favorite image sequences of yours into a basic animation via "APNG Assembler" and attach it to this post; theoretically it should animate without issue assuming you aren't using Microsoft Edge nor Samsung Internet, but we must make absolute sure FOR SCIENCE!)
