Reference definitely helps, and I do like the delinquent outfit. Even you might think a visual design of a character might be basic, as long as they exude enough expression and attitude can certainly make up for it.

I've never played va11 or know any of the characters, but if they have a sexy design or scenario I'd be willing to give it another shot.

Glad you like it so much. It was one of the ones I was more disappointed with just because once it was done I thought I should have done a side angle and had trouble figuring out the scale of the character with the whole "standing on back aspect, but if you like it then I definitely feel better about it.
