You can install mods from regular zip files without the need of editing arcane game files. Check out the instructions in player manual, but basically, copy the zip files to:
- desktop: user_data/mods (If the folder doesn't exist, start the game once, it will autocreate it)
- android: Android/data/com.zmod/torturechamber/files/screenshots (connect your phone to a PC and copy the files)
