Strange devices flip down from above the boards they have each been attached to. They're some kind of tempered clear polycarbonate tubing attached to a large transparent bottle, and some kind of engine filled with fans.
The unusual devices descend and line up with their anuses with a mechanical click, and the turbine blades slowly begin to cycle up.
