The pod opens wide and glows an electric blue. an ethereal gas flows down around their feet and begins to burn away at everything it touches. Within seconds the curious office woman's skin is melted off, and her bones disintegrate into dust. Her clothes flap and float in the breeze, untouched by the corrosive gas.
The onlookers panic and run as fast as their legs will carry them.
