There was a thudding from over a nearby hill, and two more war machines joined in the extermination from along the coastline where they had emerged earlier in the afternoon. Already finished with exterminating the population in their own areas, they combined forces to blast the naked girls without mercy. The air was filled with human ash that wafted into a hazy grey mist. There was no angle their giant blue glowing eyes couldn’t seem to see through. Girls hiding in crevices, and gaps were discorporated as easily as those on the run.

A swimmer in a full piece bathing suit, and a pigtailed glasses girl with pink dyed hair led Debbie by a half dozen meters, running towards the car park… but being faster was no salvation for them. Their exertions just meant they died tired, as the heatrays evaporated them in tandem. They cried out in unison as their flesh and bones were carbonised into dust. Bright aqua panties and a deep blue swimsuit floated off in the hot breeze, as orphaned glasses and hairpieces fell to the scorched grass below.

Debbie was panicked out of her mind. There was nowhere to run to, there was nowhere to hide either. Everyone around her was being exterminated systematically by the giant tripods. Their limber curved bodies exploded into puffs of cremated dust, leaving their clothing and inorganic materials behind.
