Harper danced wildly, sweat dripping all over her body from her exertions. Sarah, the blonde girl who’d given them the body paints, wriggled happily beside her. Both were frothing at the mouth. They’d worked themselves up so much that they were having trouble keeping up with the music. It was exhausting work. Leila twerked herself into a rhythm. Left and right, girls were falling like flies from heatstroke, unable to keep up with the buzzing music’s physical demands.

The girls were literal captives to the beat. Their brains had soaked in the psychic energies of the insect’s wing flapping music for so long, that they’d never return to the way they were before.

All but Sarah. She danced… but it didn’t sit easy with her… there was something wrong about the music, this place… everything. It was as if none of it belonged here… in this place. It was like there were two realities superimposed atop each other.. it was like a splinter in her mind. She didn’t know what was wrong, but she couldn’t ignore that something was.

Why didn’t anybody notice the giant insect sucking out women at the lounge? And why didn’t it bother her? That seemed like the kind of thing that should make you afraid, or angry or something? She didn’t feel any such way, of course…. But Sarah felt like she should.

“Hey… do you notice anything…. Strange about this place?” She asked Harper.
“No.” The sporty girl replied absentmindedly, still shuffling her orange trainers to the rhythm of the insect overlord’s wings “This place is pretty great.”
“No, I mean… there’s an insect in the corner eating your friend, maybe we should go someplace else… or help her, or something? Why is it so hard to think?”Sarah rubbed her forehead blearily.
“Oh, is that where Suzie got to? I’d almost forgotten we came here together…” Harper said, almost lucidly, before immediately getting distracted by the bodily touch of a cute girl that brushed her as she fell to the floor. Then she went back to dancing as if nothing had happened,

Leila danced on, oblivious to the conversation entirely. She was too in the groove to notice anything at all. The music had consumed her entirely.

Sarah looked over at Suzie, the nude corpse spasmed involuntarily with every gross suck at her throat. She was clearly dead, but there was just a little bit more juice for the insect thing to extract from her. Each time it sucked, there was a noise like a straw at the bottom of a soft drink cup with almost no drink left. Suzie was empty,

Finished with her, the colossal bug punched its pincers through Suzie’s chest as if she were made of tissue paper. Her dry skin and bones offered no resistance. Then it lifted her off its pale member. Sarah could see the organ slurping at Suzie's pussy juices and piss like it was a mouth of some kind. It was… creepy?

Then it tore her in twain like she was a ragdoll made of fluff. Sarah was surprised to see a tiny splash of blood as the two halves of Suzie were hurled to the floor like used trash.

Sarah could vaguely put together the thought that the creature would probably now be looking for new prey to replace Suzie, and that it probably wasn’t a good idea to be anywhere close by.

She tried to move to the front door, it was still open, and girls were still flowing into the place, somehow oblivious to the fainted girls on the floor, and the giant insect dominating the room.

But Sarah found that moving her limbs was hard, like walking through mud, she’d already danced herself too hard, and was on her last legs. Her spaghetti limbs betrayed her, and she fell to her knees, unable to escape, or continue dancing.
In that instant, the power of the glamour, the insect held over her fell from her mind and she began to see the world for what it really was.
