Leila and Harper were beckoned to his side next, as he mounted a girl with rainbow dyed hair onto his cock, they were fully under his glamour. All they could see was the handsome man they were about to fuck.
Sarah could see more of the illusion now. She saw beyond the glamour of the wealthy man hiding the true face of the interdimensional horror beast. She realised that the world itself wasn’t even real. There was a world beyond the world she saw with her eyes, green lightning cracked over orange skies above a barren wasteland filled with the goo cocooned bodies of hundreds of women. It occupied the same space as the dance floor. It was alien, and unlike anything she’d ever seen.
Somehow, Sarah realised that both were true… both occupied the same space, just in different realities. She was peering through some kind of dimensional rift. This was how the creature hunted. It had evolved in a universe with different physical rules, to punchholes into different planes of existence, where it could find prey to drag back to its own reality.
She looked back at the door, and realised with existential dread that even if she could still see it, she would never have been able to walk back through it. Once she’d stepped through the doors, the trap had been sprung on her, and all the other partygoers. They were dead from the moment they’d come here.
That was probably why it had been a pop-up club in the first place… it hadn’t even really been there to begin with. She had always remembered this place as an abandoned building. It probably still was…. Just the glamour had made them all think otherwise.
The music stopped entirely. The dancers who had endured swayed woozily on their feet. They were the strongest ones, Sarah realised. The insect thing wanted something from them. Something different from the ones who had collapsed. She didn’t want to think what that could be.
One by one they filed into a grid pattern like automatons, each girl had a blank, brainless expression plastered on her face. Then the insect buzzed its wings once more, and a single pure musical tone rose over them. It was a beautiful, and haunting sound: it was so perfect, it made Sarah feel physically sick to hear.
In synchronicity, all the lovecraftian monster’s new slaves obeyed its psychic will and bowed in worship. They lowered their heads in absolute obedience, as it chowed down on the rainbow haired woman, poking its straw into her like a human juice popper.
She’d never had a chance, from the moment she’d stepped foot in this realm, there had been no escape.
A feeling that had been stolen from Sara by the alien music’s glamour was finally returned to her.
Fear.
