Do you guys think there is a real difference between people who enjoy guro as opposed to people who enjoy gore? Im mainly referring to sexual enjoyment. I imagine the argument is akin to "hentai vs porn", or, on a darker note, "loli vs cp". As far as gore vs guro, i think that its pretty much the same, (since hentai and porn are like, two different versions of basically the same thing) but ONLY if the gore is sexual in nature. Id also like to ask about sexual arousal from gore that isnt inherently sexual, i.e. if someone were to jerk off to like, a vid of some guys brains blown out or something. What might this stem from, in terms of mental disoders and trauma and such? I imagine its indicative of SOME psychological disturbance, but is it worth sending someone to the psych ward over? I find that behaviors within this genre are often immediately seen as "fucked up" and "weird", but then not addressed any further, as if its in some far away land where people like that dont exist, when in reality they exist and walk among the general population all the time.
