As others have pointed out, there's no danger of kuru if neurological tissue is avoided. Even then, it was a bit of a chance ailment. With human tissue grown in laboratories, you could of course screen for prions; it would generally be safer than eating meat from animals today! I do wonder whether, unless it is banned, such things might become a fad; you could clone the meat of any person...eat your favourite celebrity perhaps!
