I guess the two opposing factors are empathy and masochism. Both can exist at the same time in the same person, but the action they cause(help vs not help) is different. I don't have the desire to actually hurt someone. I just love watching others do it to someone innocent.
I only enjoy it because innocent little girls(or animals) are cute and dear to me(=masochism).

I also know why it's so easy for most of you now. You're no masochists and not aroused by the thought of harming yourself, doing something which is against your own morals. You actually want to do it(as revenge, you hate society and its rules, etc., or just because you like hurting people) and the only thing holding you back are good intentions or empathy, but disregarding your own good intentions is not a sexual turn-on for you. That's the fundamental difference between us.
