The database. Currently, GUROchan is backed up by MariaDB. All dates used to be stored as plain Unix Epoch integers and formatted by PHP code. Now they are stored in TIMESTAMP-typed columns which have the output format as you currently see on the site; it rids me of the effort of manual formatting as I receive dates already formatted from the database.

Also, a reminder: stylesheets and layout change often during this reconstruction, so if something looks wrong, first of all flush your browser's cache.
