Yeah, there were autocomplete="off" vichan leftovers in HTML. I removed them. Also, vichan used to manually remember stuff with JavaScript for some reason; that is no more. If you want fields remembered, use your browser's form autocompletion/autofill feature.

I might try to convert dates to local time format and timezone with JavaScript. I'm pondering on how to implement JavaScript-based thread watch cheaply and without Ajax; it might also help solve the issue. The working idea is to highlight updated watched threads in the table of contents until visited.

As >>5707 pointed out, it is no longer 1998. The old look was outright garbage, poorly designed and awkward. So now we have this as a starting point. What clutter are you speaking of specifically? I honestly fail to see any beside the bottom-right corner block. The entire point of early redesign was to get rid of old visual junk, unnecessary elements, and whatnot.

There's a dark theme draft in the works. Potentially a light white-ish theme may be added to make it three, but I'm not porting any of those other imageboards' eyesore skins (4chan, 8chan, etc.)
