I guess it's the way everything is laid out in blocks, I guess?

It all just seems to take up more room than it actually needs. Like up at the top, the g, f, and s boards have a huge amount of room compared to fur, art, and the others. And on my screen, it looks like rp is just squeezed in there.

On the main directory for each section, there's a huge amount of information packed into a tiny area- things like thread titles are getting cut off.

The older version had a bit more room to work with, most sections had two lines to work with, not just one, if it was needed. One was bugged to not work right, but that was a fairly recent occurance.

All in all, the layout of the older version was simpler. A mite bit easier to work with on mobile devices, once you got away from that damned framework or whatever it was that was the main page insisting on being the only damned page. And that was easy enought to manage.
