I'm a male who enjoys female victims. I noticed the same thing, that most people I meet in real life who enjoy guro are women, some who enjoy men some who enjoy women.

I've found a lot of women who simply identify as or with the characters in the works they love, identifying with the victim usually regardless of weather that victim is male or female. A lot of the women I know who fantasize about being victims like a lot of the same things I do– cute characters suffering.

I've met women who enjoy heavily misohynistic worlds or characters– but so far, they don't actually identify as a literal dumb or worthless bimbo– but rather they're still fully realized women who are just victims of society. Where as the men partaking in those fantasies where the female is worthless are literally fantasizing about a world in which females are demonstrably of no value outside of sex.
