BBraker, I see that ethics are strong in you
and I salute that.
I absolutely agree with you upon the point you
made concerning the abuse of power by the single
person in charge.
Maybe a more democratic approach for distribution
of that power might help as well as a separation
of concerns.
You might notice, that the closer we come to
a possible solution, the closer we get to the
'real thing'. (actual politics)

But the first point you made, that humans are
not comparable to each other isn't really to my
taste.
I admit, It sounds 'right' but I don't think
its pragmatic.
In a perfect world, I would agree with you on
that point, but we don't live in that world.

In reality, decisions have to be made
and the process of decicion-making has to be
achievable in a practical fashion.

I highly doubt, that, judging from your style
of conduct, you may ever get in touch with
the 'iron fist'.

So let me ask you:
Why do you stand up for the rights of the very
people that would happily shit on yours,
if the situation would provide them an opportunity?

Don't get me wrong.
I believe that every Person has value/rights
from the very beginning of their existence.
But it is this persons duty to preserve this
natural given value/right.
As soon as this person 'crosses the line',
he/she sacrifices those natural given rights
for doing so.
