True, not everyone can but some can and OPs views have to come from somewhere. He didn't just wake up one day and decide to despise women. To me he does not sound actively evil, he sounds damaged, in pain. Call it intuition if you like but he sounds like he has been starved of love and maybe, just maybe, a little genuine kindness could help him onto a better path. Maybe it wouldn't work but maybe it would.
