If you can see the checkbox to the left of the post title on the main board list, click that then scroll to the bottom, there's a report submit box there too.

In any case, if the thing's at the top of a board index, your browser's already loaded in the thumbnail, so clicking through to the thread isn't going to make shit any worse.
