Intellectually, I know that both men and women have their faults and good qualities. However, I can't help feeling aggrieved at women due to things like the expectation of men to pay for the things they consume/use/experience (for instance, it's considered 'romantic for men to pay for meals at dates and buy women expensive jewellery; but there is little to no expectation for women to do the same for men) and the overreach and misandry in some (with emphasis on the 'some') circles. This *can* spill over into a small amount of hatred sometimes but I quickly try to remind myself that not *all* women are like that and that you can't help picking up some of the attitudes of the time and place you live in.
