If nearly every human liked hanging around dead bodies and shit instead of the other way around, we'd have gone extinct a loooong time ago from disease and predation. Even if a dislike for these things was only socialized(that is a massive if), people who like them weren't influenced in the same way, which still indicates an abnormality.

If getting a paper cut, bruise, burn and vaccine shot hurts, it's pretty easy to expand on that. The basic question is "would you want that to happen to you". If the answer is no, ignorance can't be claimed. How many kids(who are still developing empathy) want themselves to be brutalized?
